Lecturer Technics – didactics lecturer Technics

Describe your job in less 50 words:

Training young people to become motivated teachers for the first grade of secondary education (pupils aged 12-14). This for the domain technics and STEM both subject wise and didactically. Coaching during their internships in secondary schools. Supervising student teams during the development of interdisciplinary STEM projects for the first and/or second grade of secondary education.

What do you like most about your job?

Every year guiding a new generation of students to become teachers. Developing new STEM projects.

What did you want to be when you were at school?

I deliberately chose technical education to create new things. Later, training young people to become teachers of technology and technical subjects came into play.

How could i do your job? I would be able to:

Having a broad interest and passion for technical and scientific subjects, having the motivation to train young people as teachers in STEM and technology. Education is the key to the future of many pupils, so they need motivated teachers and therefore motivated teacher trainers.
